Walmart, the Worlds largest retail store – famous for its cheap Chinese products – is selling “Antifa” merchandize on its online store.
“Antifa,” or Anti-Fascist Action, is an informal grouping of communist, anarchist, and other far-left street gangs. Drawing inspiration from the German Communist Party’s street fighters of the 1930s, the modern movement grew out of the European far-left punk scene in the 1980s. These unapologetically violent bands of leftists were largely unknown in the United States until recent years, when America’s post-Occupy Wall Street far-left began adopting the name. Earlier this year US security officials classified Antifa as “domestic terrorists”.
Walmart’s site operates in a similar fashion as Amazon, allowing vendors to sell products without verification from Walmart. This means that while Walmart is not openly supporting a terrorist organization, it takes limited action to stop them. Just a few days ago Walmart pulled “Tree. Rope. Journalist. Some assembly required.” t-shirt from their site. Also two years ago Walmart made news when it baked a cake with ISIS flag on it, while refused to bake a cake with the Confederate flag. So there must be some oversight as to what is allowed and what is not; it is just not always applied equally.
It is possible to report the products, and it should not take long before the t-shirts promoting Antifa will get taken down. Their low rating, however, gives a good idea how most people feel about the terrorist organization.
“If your choice is to look stupid ? Well here it is just another way to dumb down society ! This T-shirt is another way to say Hey I drank the kool-aid too !”
“I wanted to buy it because I also hate fashion like those kids on TV, but I can’t because I’m a commie and that would be like supporting capitalism, right.”
“Perfect for the far left, true fascist basement dweller communists, but not a good choice for us conservative patriots.”
“This isthe perfect shirt for all your basement-dwelling, crayon eating, window licking douche bags in your family.”
“Designed for your run-of-the-mill scumbag. Being absolute scum never felt so comfortable.”
“Material is Garbage – just like those who wear and sell it!”
“Falls apart after one tumble and bleeds easily.”
“Does not have any hidden pockets for bike locks and assorted bottles.”
“ANTIFA shirts ? What’s next?”
“As someone who identifies as an attack hellicopter I find this offensive that sizes aren’t offered for transgendered handicapped multicultural bisexuals.”
“OK,this is just another overpriced sweat shirt that makes me feel like I am helping out the next seven years.”
“Seriously, “Antifa” gear with a subliminal SS style lightning bolt? Sickening.”
“”Antifa” is a hate group that has often initiated violence against people they didn’t like. I have seen this with my own eyes. Please do not carry this item if you expect to have my business.”
“The letters are written in white! Not enough diversity. Black Letters Matter!”
